4. Become a Member of the SPCA and learn more about animal welfare issues;
5. Volunteer with your local SPCA;
6. Inform others about the plight of animals. There are many ways to spread the word - give gift memberships, pass out materials at work, club meetings or events;
7. Scan newspapers and magazines for articles about animals or animal abuse. Write letters to organizations, politicians and the media. Also, send a copy of the clippings and your letters to your SPCA; and
8. Encourage clubs to undertake animal or environment-related projects. Arrange for talks by Veterinarians, Wildlife Experts of SPCA workers, show animal videos and films.
Together, with your help, we can make a difference for all animals
