May 10 - The Hants Co. SPCA was invited to participate in Shur-Gain's Annual Customer Appreciation Day. We would like to thank them for their very generous donation of hot dogs, pop, condiments and use of barbeque, so we could hold a Barbeque and Yard Sale at their Windsor location.
West Hants MLA Chuck Porter and his daughter check in on "Casey" and "Babs" (kittens ready for adoption) and then wait for a hot dog to warm them up on a chilly Spring day.
Katie (Shur-Gain Mgr.) checks to see how the barbeque is going. -->
Below, "Casey" and "Babs" appreciate being brought inside where it was nice and warm.

DONATION - $500 plus Animal Food - by Falmouth Elementary "Animal Group "
Fri., Apr. 11th the Hants Co. SPCA was very impressed and grateful to receive a $500 donation and a generous amount (boxes full) of animal food collected by an "Animal Group" formed by concerned Falmouth Elementary students wanting to make a better life for animals "who cannot speak for themselves".
Kyle Fraser, on behalf of the Group, presented the check to Tammy Acker, our Public Relations representative.
Here the students hold various items of the animal food collected.
We hope to have names of the participating students inserted here in the near future.
